At Heritage Trails Nigeria, we strive to deliver enriching travel experiences. However, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for services booked through HeritageTrailsNigeria.com (“Site”).

2. Booking Cancellations and Refund Eligibility

Refunds are subject to the terms below and vary depending on the type of service purchased:

Pre-Made Tour Packages:

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start date: Eligible for a full refund minus administrative fees.
Cancellations made 15–30 days before the start date: Eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 15 days before the start date: Non-refundable.

Custom Tour Packages:

Custom itineraries require advance coordination with local partners; thus, these bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
If cancellation is requested within 48 hours of booking and at least 30 days prior to the tour start date, a partial refund (up to 50%) may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Hotels and Third-Party Services:

Subject to the individual provider’s cancellation and refund policy.
We will assist in processing third-party refunds but cannot guarantee reimbursement.

3. Force Majeure Events

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations resulting from events outside our control, such as natural disasters, government travel restrictions, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit toward future travel.

4. Changes by Heritage Trails Nigeria

In the rare case that we must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook at no additional cost.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise specified.
